Intro and Team News

|In recent weeks I have become used to dreadful displays from Saints and coupled with rumours of the owner putting the club up for sale, it has become very difficult to find much in the way of enthusiasm for following my team. The players have been looking lost and at times disinterested, plus the manager just looks shattered. Frankly you fear for the future.
And then along comes a game like this! Allright, we didn't win, but we bloody well should have done. We had an absolute bucket full of chances and there was a determined team spirit very much visible. I just feel absolutely gutted for them that they only drew. At the final whistle it felt like Saints had lost.
This match came on the back of yet another interminable international break, in which a fair number of the Saints players were away playing for their various countries. It is almost pointless going through the the team changes, but suffice to note that Bertrand was returning to the team following his three match suspension for the sending off early on during the infamous Leicester home game.
Danny Ings scored Saints first after just 8 minutes
