    |It seems there is no end to the misery. Already without Bertrand after his red card in the Leicester match, Højbjerg was out for this match with apparent concussion. Cédric was back from injury, but had given an interview during the week when he revealed that he would be leaving the club at the end of this season.

And then Saints turned in another pathetic display.

Ralph Hasenhüttl looks lost and alone these days

    Match Report

    |Is there really much point in reporting on yet another pathetic display at home. I was full of hope after the way the players responded to Hasenhüttl last season and after a full pre-season together things would be better and we would be back to chasing the top six.

Such optimism has long since been driven from my thoughts. Surely we are destined for relegation now.

I might just do some sort of report on this, but frankly who cares? The majoriy of the players certainly don't seem to.
