    |A home win - again! Back to back. The win against the hapless Watford at the weekend has instilled some confidence back into a side that for many games has just been totally devoid of any sense of self-belief. From the way they started there was a fire and passion that has been sadly missing in performances so far this season at St.Mary's.

The only change to the starting line-up from Saturday was the inclusion of Shane Long, at the expense of Obafemi, who dropped to the bench. Valery's place on the bench was filled instead by Kevin Danso.

    |Well, this time I will be doing a proper match report, after becoming totally disillusioned in recent weeks. Sodt's law being in operation, I am really busy at the moment and after two back-to-back wins at St.Mary's, we will probably end up with both reports up almost simultaneously later in the week

Much, much, much later - As with the previous Watford game, real life got in the way of match reports. Sorry.

Shane Long had a good game, harrying and generally unsettling any Norwich player that came near to the ball
