Intro
|I saw this match described somewhere as not so much a 'Must Win' sort of game, but more a 'Don't Lose' sort of affair. I know exactly what they meant. After the good win against Leeds last week Saints really needed another win, but at the very least a draw. A loss would have been very hard to take.
From a team availability perspective, Saints were still without Ward-Prowse, serving the second of his three match suspension. Jack Stephens was still out injured, but Ché Adams was back in training and might just play some part in the game.
When the team was announced, it was probably the least surprising line-up so far this season. The one change from last Saturday was Theo Walcott started on the left, with Djenepo dropping to the bench.
Romain Perraud had a decent game at left back and is beginning to look like another shrewd signing
